In 2023, the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble joined forces with the Casa de Mateus Foundation and the blablaLab Cultural Association to launch the 1st edition of the Alvaro García de Zúñiga International Lied Composition Competition, aiming to encourage the creation, performance, and dissemination of new musical works.

Concert “Identities” – Lívia Nestrovski & Fred Ferreira + Oniros Ensemble
“This beutiful song creation project was made up of encounters: between music and words; between musical universes; between friends (old and future ones); between Portugal and Brazil. At Oniros we dream, we project the future… And the dream led to this mix of musicians, composers and music who meet (or not) with poetry. Distinct in their musical practices, but united in their devotion to music, sensitivity, professionalism, and, now, by a tender expectation of the results of this identities crossing.”
